Clate Bowen — Lead Vocals Clate Bowen has been a force in the Dallas music scene for decades, first making his mark as the lead singer of The Martyrs during Deep Ellum's 80’s heyday, then following with an impressive stint in Mr. Pink, a Pulp Fiction-era swing jazz band. He also leads Lounge Noir, a jazz ensemble that has been bringing classic standards to life for over a decade. Currently, he delivers powerhouse performances with The eMpTy Vs and Wink Wink Nudge Nudge, but some of his most electrifying performances happen with MAD WORLD.

Analisa Thirlwall — Vocals Analisa is a powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, and entertainer based in DFW, known for her incredible range and versatility across rock, jazz, and Latin music. A UNT music grad, she’s lent her voice to legendary acts like MC 900 Ft Jesus as well as major brands like McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Ford, and AT&T, recording bilingual jingles heard nationwide.

Rene Guerrero — Guitar Rene, a Dallas native, has spent his life immersed in music, art, and film. A UNT jazz student turned alt-rock guitarist, he co-wrote and performed with The Love Remote before shifting gears into the world of film and photography. Now he brings his signature style to MAD WORLD.

Trey Smith — Bass Trey has been a staple of the Dallas music scene for decades, bringing his signature groove to bands like Art Marvel, The Martyrs, Soul Tsunami, and Vinyl Tap. A seasoned bassist with a deep love for ’80s new wave and funk, he currently holds down the low end for The eMpTy Vs and Wink Wink Nudge Nudge, and now drives the rhythms of MAD WORLD.

Grant McFarlane — Keyboards & Backing Vocals Grant began his musical journey in Dundee, Scotland, with classical piano at age 8 before swapping sheet music for synths and songwriting. After early success in

Scotland, he moved to Dallas and played in multiple cover bands. A lifelong fan of synth-pop, he co-
founded Cheers for Tears, the foundation for what is now MAD WORLD.

Ethan Sedelmeier — Drums Ethan is a seasoned musician, recording engineer, and songwriter. As the main songwriter and drummer for Modern Modem, he blends intricate composition with dynamic rhythms. Now, he brings his technical mastery and creative precision to MAD WORLD.
