SLOW MEADOW

Slow Meadow is Houston multi-instrumentalist Matt Kidd. Kidd's releases as Slow Meadow have been celebrated by the New York Observer, NPR's Stephen Thompson, Echoes' John Diliberto, and 6LACK who sampled Lachrymosia for the platinum-selling song Luving U on his debut album, FREE 6LACK.

In 2019, Slow Meadow released its third full-length album Happy Occident, a collection of textured ambient melodies. Fueled by the anxiety derivative of modern life and the frenetic and often uncertain state of these ever-changing times, Happy Occident provides music for reflection. A soundtrack to life’s contemplative moments, and an experience akin to mindfulness meditation.

With a foundation of piano, string orchestration, and an ever-evolving electronic palette, Slow Meadow has traversed the borders of neoclassical and minimalist electronics, delivering a deeply personal and transportive experience that speaks directly to the ebbs and flows and mundanity and marvels of life. With sublime patience, understated elegance, and surreal atmosphere, Slow Meadow savors the present, remembers the past, and imagines what could be.

FELT OUT

Felt Out is the alt pop duo and creative brainchild of Sowmya Somanath and Walter Nichols. On its face, Felt Out presents pop songs with a multicolored skeleton of synths, wind instruments, driving beats, guitar, lush vocals, and whatever else the two stumble upon. Underneath, it’s the culmination of a decade-long friendship; it’s the documenting of a search that doesn’t end.

Felt Out has their debut album coming out on Aural Canyon this April.

AURA GAZE

Aura Gaze is an immersive, multisensorial sound project performed by musician, Brandon Blair. Blair, based in Lubbock, TX, creates ambient sound by generative looping electric and acoustic instruments, in both live and studio improvisations. Drawing upon Eastern mysticism and meditation, Aura Gaze seeks to transport and calm the listener through layers of hypnotic drones.

Aura Gaze's 5th studio album "The State of Pure Being" releases via Aura Canyon on 4/14/23. Recorded in Spring of '22 at Wind Tide in Littlefield with Andrew Weathers, the album has a hypnotic and mysterious vibe due to Indian scales, and drones mixed with synthesizer.

UXRA

UXRA transcends other dimensions through her sword's blade. Step into her presence and you've stepped into a world of possibilities. A producer, creative director, and vocalist, she's come to eat your heart. Their experimental industrial beats are otherworldly. Careful what you wish for. Anything is possible.

ZAK LOYD

A media artist and educator interested in mystical ramifications of video art histories, post-truth culture, and pop-gnosis. His intermodal work takes the form of, crypto-art, installation, performance, and network-based compositions.

BRIAN TOMERLIN

A master of all things analogue. For going on 10 years now, this visionary has brought the world one of  the most psychedelic experiences visually and aurally, ever known. Using his video synthesizing machines, a field of spectral and kaleidoscopic visions unfolds onto the screen, capturing your attention and shattering your expectations of what is possible in the realm of modular synthesis. He is also an incredible musician that creates beautiful soundscapes using guitar, effects,  loops and modular gear. His sounds make life more enjoyable after having listened to them. He is truly the original ambient dad.

MELANIE CLEMMONS

Melanie Clemmons is a new media artist that reimagines our relationship with digital technology toward a softer and more carefully innovative present and future, one that is symbiotic with art. She has exhibited her work in galleries and museums in solo and group shows nationally and internationally. In 2018 Clemmons toured with Pussy Riot performing lighting and visuals for their first North American tour. She is an assistant professor at SMU in Dallas, TX.
