Cody Abbott is a hardworking, talented, family oriented, small town kind of guy, from the ever growing town of Newcastle, OK. Cody graduated from Newcastle High School in 2002 and went on to join the United States Marine Corps. Cody began drawing crowds and fans the very first time he ever stepped foot on stage to perform at The Country Club in Oklahoma City, OK in 2006. Cody has played countless shows on many different stages across Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas. In May of 2012, Cody independently released his first, self-titled album, “Cody Abbott,” and it has been in great circulation since its release. While taking 6 years to release an album seems crazy, Cody wanted to ensure this album was a reflection of who he is and the experiences that have shaped his life.
In 2014, Cody took a step away from his music to focus on his number one priority, his family. After a very long 4 years, Cody has made his way back to his passion and his first love, the music. Cody’s family, friends, and fans couldn’t be more excited about his long awaited, much overdue return.
Eddie Esler is a craftsman whose lyrics are heartfelt, but often not without being accompanied by a great melody and an upbeat groove.
