The Texas Trio
The Texas Trio is a traditional country and western swing music group made up of Kyle Park, Jason Roberts, and John Michael Whitby.
John Michael Whitby
Born in Austin, TX, and raised in both Waco and New Braunfels, TX, John Michael began playing classical piano at the age of three, but soon found his true calling when he heard the honky-tonk piano styles of Mickey Gilley and Jerry Lee Lewis. At only 21 years of age, he joined western swing supergroup Asleep At The Wheel and was a member for 8 years. During that time, he also had a three year residency with his longtime friends the Randy Rogers Band. For the past 21 years, John Michael has been the keyboardist of George Strait's famous Ace in the Hole Band.
Jason Roberts
Born in Lampasas, TX, Jason is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter who grew up listening to and learning from iconic country musician Johnny Gimble. The day after he graduated from high school, he joined western swing supergroup Asleep At The Wheel and was a vital member of the band for sixteen years, performing at venues all across the world from The Broken Spoke in Austin, TX, to Carnegie Hall in New York, NY. He has earned two Grammy Awards, and has recorded with and shared the stage with countless artists such as Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, George Strait, and many more. He has recorded two original full length albums, and constantly tours with his own band performing across the country. Jason is also currently the frontman of the iconic Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys.
Kyle Park
Born in Austin, TX, Kyle began playing acoustic guitar, writing songs, and singing country music for live audiences at the age of 15. Since then, he has recorded six original full length albums, four of which Kyle produced himself, proving him to be a successful producer and paving the way for him to produce other country music artists as well. He is well known across the Texas Country Music scene, has had numerous #1 songs played on Texas radio, and has been performing and touring with his own band for 15 years, routinely performing over 100 shows per year at venues across the country, as well as Europe. Kyle has shared the stage with country stars such as George Strait, Clint Black, Gary Allan, Tracy Lawrence, and more.
