Some people ride 100 miles in August heat.
We sip. We stroll. We survive.

Hotter’n Ale is BACK — proudly presented by Pacifico Beer — and this year, we’re keeping it simple: cold drinks, great friends, zero riddles. No mysteries to solve. No thinking required. Just a .5K (yes, point five) pub crawl through Downtown Wichita Falls — with plenty of hydration and heckling along the way.

It’s about 1,640 feet — if you’re counting. But we hope you’re not.
Less solving. More sipping.

Pick Your Pool Team (Yes, it’s a thing.)

You’ll join 24 other legendary underachievers on a team named after one of Wichita Falls’ iconic — but long-closed — public pools. Each team is led by a pair of “Coaches” to keep spirits high and hydration levels higher:

• Sand Beach Pool – Rodney & Amy Case
• Sea Blue Pool (VLP / Very Lazy People) – Charis & Robby Rhoades
• Westmoreland Pool – Dusty & Janet Potter
• Fountain Park Pool – Dustin Nimz & Lelani Gibbs

Want the VIP experience? Register for the VLP Team and ride the Downtown Trolley between stops in style.

Dress Code

Pool party meets pub crawl? We're in. Wear your swimwear, floaties, goggles, towels — whatever floats your float.

But remember:

• Shirts are required (even over swimwear)
• Keep it tasteful and appropriate for entering downtown businesses
• Think fun and festive — not festival gone feral

Start and finish at the Farmers Market, where the Pacifico-fueled block party kicks off at the end.
