Terrapin Flyer is a Chicago-based Grateful Dead band that has been making waves in the music world for over 25 years! From the bands early years, there were tours with former members of the Grateful Dead and the Jerry Garcia Band. To this year's performances in Spain and Germany and with Derek Trucks on Jerry Garcia's Tiger guitar. The band has a long history of various gifted associations and has garnered much national attention.
When the band is not on tour, Terrapin Flyer performs all over and often in their region. Such is the case on May 8 when they perform in Yorkville IL for the first time! The occasion will be highlighted with a special anniversary performance of The Grateful Dead's Barton Hall show on 5/8/77 in Ithaca NY. This show is considered one of the best Grateful Dead shows ever and has been held in high reverence by deadheads for many years. The very special anniversary show will be marked at The Law Office Pub & Music Hall at 226 S Bridge St. The intimate setting will surely be a thrilling spectacle.
The Law Office is a unique craft beer bar and live music venue located in a historic 1865 building that formerly served as a literal law office. It maintains its historic charm with the original law library and books still on-site. The venue is described as intimate and cozy, featuring a well-lit stage for live performances.
