"Since forming in 2015, Giovannie and The Hired Guns have built their reputation by breaking rules and blending sounds—alt‑metal, Red Dirt country, Latin pop, and Americana. Hailing from Stephenville, Texas, the five‑piece rose from local bars to major festivals, earning a devoted mix of cowboys, metalheads, and skate punks. Their breakout hit “Ramon Ayala” topped both Active Rock and Alternative radio, and they won the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Award for Best New Artist in Alternative & Rock.

Their new album Quitter is their boldest yet, featuring their latest single “I HATE ME TOO,” an explosive anthem that’s already resonating with fans. Produced by Johnny K (Megadeth, Sevendust), Quitter pairs heavy‑hitting riffs with brutally honest songwriting. Recorded at Sonic Ranch near the Mexican border, the album reflects frontman Giovannie Yanez’s struggles—including loss and addiction—while delivering songs full of catharsis and hope. “When I first listened back, I realized I wasn’t all there for some songs,” says Yanez. “But I made it out, and I hope it helps others.”

Quitter swings from raw confessionals like the title track to genre‑bending moments like “Chiquita” and “Talk Dirty.” It captures the fearless, unpredictable energy of their live shows. “We want fans to feel like part of the band,” Yanez says. “Without them, we wouldn’t be here.”
