Hailing from the Denton Texas music scene, Sun Valley Scarlet draws inspirations from bands like Nothing But Thieves, Portugal, The Man, and King Crimson to create a unique blend of alternative and garage rock. Originally a solo-project, Sun Valley Scarlet was created in the summer of 2020 by frontman Clayton Hinson. The goal was simple: combine the simple yet complex songwriting style of The Strokes with the theatrical concepts of Muse.
