THE OLD QUARTER IS A LISTENING ROOM. LOUD CONVERSATION DURING ARTIST'S PERFORMANCE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS WHEN PURCHASING TICKETS TO SHOWS.

Grammy-nominated Texas singer-songwriter Hayes Carll is celebrated for his wit-laced storytelling, roots-infused Americana, and plain-spoken lyricism that blends humor with heart. A native of The Woodlands, Texas, Carll built his reputation over two decades with critically acclaimed albums like Trouble in Mind and We’re Only Human and a devoted fanbase that follows his every lyric and riff.

In June 2026, Carll returns to one of the places that helped shape his musical journey — the historic Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe in Galveston, Texas. This intimate listening room, known for its legendary role in nurturing songwriters from Townes Van Zandt to modern Americana voices, holds a special place in Carll’s roots. The two-night run celebrates his enduring connection to the venue’s community-centered spirit and its storied legacy of original music where “lyrics still count.”
