The son of John Michael Montgomery and nephew of Montgomery Gentry’s Eddie Montgomery was raised away from the spotlight in Nicholasville, Kentucky, but moved to Nashville and is carving a path all his own on today’s country scene. Hank Weaver is an aspiring singer-songwriter in the music scene of San Marcos, Texas. Originally from Bells, Texas, Hank is a student at Texas State University and has made progress as a songwriter and performer through the help of his peers he has made along the way. With a devout passion for the songwriting history of Texas, Hank has taken inspiration from artists such as Steve Earle, Todd Snider, Guy Clark, and Townes Van Zandt. He has been graciously accepted into the community of the legendary Cheatham Street Warehouse, where he currently spends his time honing his craft. He has ambitions of breaking into the scene as someone who can bring a unique sound, as well as having the same impact as his heroes did before him.
