Buddy Holly was a pioneering American rock and roll musician from Lubbock, Texas, known for hits like "Peggy Sue" and "That'll Be The Day," iconic glasses, and defining the two-guitar, bass, drums lineup. A central figure in the 1950's rock, he blended country, R&B, and gospel, tragically dying at age 22 in a 1959 plane crash, an event famously dubbed "The Day the Music Died" 

Two Tons of Steel pays tribute to Buddy Holly with a full set of best-hits and classic from the legendary songwriters catalogue. This, popular, high-energy San Antonio-based band known for blending rockabilly, punk and Texas country, famous for their legendary "Two Ton Tuesdays" at Gruene Hall and performances at the Grand Ole Opry, with frontman Kevin Neil leading their unique sound.
