Laugh Your MASS Off ft.
Arielle Isaac Norman
Arielle Isaac Norman is an Austin-based comedian who’s known for delighting, shocking, (and often grossing out) audiences across the country. She was a 2018 and 2019 finalist in the Funniest Person in Austin contest, and she has performed at Moontower, Laughing Skull, and many other festivals. Along with trans chick comedian Ava Smartt, Arielle hosts the weekly podcast Gender Fluids, which takes an explicit and unapologetic look into the rarely explored depths of sex and gender. Come see her monthly show, Off Script, where heckling is not only allowed but rewarded.
Also she’s a twice-divorced, ex-mormon, poly, genderfluid, boy lesbian from Houston.
Ava Smartt is a native Texan and trans woman whose incisive comedy tinkers with subjects on the border of right and wrong. Ava uses her small town charm to guide the audience into a liminal space where they feel comfortable to temporarily tip-toe over the blurred lines of what is and isn't acceptable to laugh at.
Ava was born and raised in the desolate yet pastoral town of Bonham, Texas, moved to Austin, Texas when she was a senior in high school, obtained a degree in philosophy after attending Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and is now terrorizing public parks with her dog, Ellie, all around ATX.
