A longtime fixture in the Texas music scene, he has collaborated with artists like Joe Ely, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Ruthie Foster, earning respect both as a sideman and as a solo performer. Blending roots, rock, soul, and Americana, Plankenhorn’s songs carry heartfelt stories and uplifting grooves.
