Sam Robbins is an “old soul” singer-songwriter whose warm, introspective folk-pop sound calls to mind classic 1970s storytellers like James Taylor and Jackson Browne. Based in New England, he’s a nationally touring musician who’s shared stages with artists like Jason Mraz and David Wilcox, and has performed at major folk festivals including Kerrville and Falcon Ridge.
A Berklee College of Music graduate, Sam spent several years in Nashville before returning to the Boston area. In 2021, he won the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk competition. His debut album, Finally Feeling Young, released in 2021, earned acclaim for its vintage-inspired production and heartfelt songwriting.
Sam’s third album, So Much I Still Don’t See, reflects on his journey as a troubadour — built around his experiences touring 45,000 miles a year, and even includes a fingerstyle guitar instrumental titled “Rosie.” Known for his thoughtful lyrics and genuine stage presence, he now performs more than 200 shows a year, earning a reputation as one of the most promising voices in the modern folk community.
