Open Mic Night

Open Mic at the Sparrow is a special night for us all - artist, patrons and staff alike. 

Open Mics are held on the 2nd Saturday of every month. 
Sign ups start at 6pm
Show starts at 7pm
And we wrap up the night at around 10pm 

Each artist gets 3 songs or 5 minutes for spoken word or comedy. 

One artist (or act) is selected from each monthly Open Mic and invited to play in our quarterly Black Sparrow Showcase. Showcases are a ticketed event and take place every 3 months, shared between 3 paid artists (or acts). 

Artist will be selected and notified at the end of the night by: 
Show Host (Will Panter) and Audio Person (Shannon Bagent).
