Sweet Megg is a dynamic vocalist and songwriter originally from New York City, now based in Nashville. Her music blends jazz, country, and blues, drawing influence from legends like Billie Holiday, Patsy Cline, and Edith Piaf. Starting her career in New York’s early jazz scene, she performed with Sweet Megg & The Wayfarers and released albums such as Under the Moonlight (2020) and I’m in Love Again (2021). After moving to Nashville, she explored her love for country music, releasing My Window Faces South (2022) and Bluer Than Blue (2023), which fused jazz elements with Nashville’s storytelling tradition.
Megg’s musical journey also includes studying jazz in Paris and extensive international touring, including collaborations with Postmodern Jukebox and Cirque du Soleil. She is now working on a new album of original songs, set for release in 2025, which aims to further integrate her diverse influences into a unique Americana sound.
