Ray Benson featuring Ian Stewart

Ray Benson officially brought Ian Stewart on as a full-time member ahead of Asleep at the Wheel’s 55th-anniversary milestone. Stewart made his major recorded debut on the band's 32nd studio album, Riding High in Texas. He notably sings lead vocals, plays fiddle, and delivers a signature yodel on the album's title track, which also features guest guitar work from bluegrass star Billy Strings. Stewart has been a fixture of their recent major performances, touring with the group on their "Happy Trails Tour," and taking the stage at monumental events like the Grand Ole Opry and benefit concerts with George Strait.
