A Celebration of Storytellers: 10th Annual Pegasus Film Festival
Pegasus Film Festival 2025: A Celebration of Storytellers
June 22, 2025 | 12 PM – 8 PM | The Majestic Theatre, Dallas
This year, we proudly present the inaugural Pegasus Inspiration Award to groundbreaking director Cierra Glaudé, known for P-Valley, The Chi, Queen Sugar, and Riverdale. Her bold, boundary-breaking work celebrates Black and queer voices—continuing a vital cultural legacy.
Step into a world of cinematic elegance at the historic Majestic Theatre, where legacy and storytelling converge. As we close the 10th Anniversary of the Pegasus Film Festival, join us for a daylong celebration of the voices, visions, and communities that have shaped a decade of fearless filmmaking.
Dress Code: Old Hollywood Glamour
In tribute to the Majestic’s storied past—where icons like Mae West, Houdini, Bob Hope, and Ginger Rogers once performed—we invite you to channel the golden age of cinema. Think tuxedos, vintage gowns, red lips, polished shoes, and all the glamour of classic Hollywood.
Celebrating the Future.
Taking place just days after Juneteenth, this celebration recognizes the power of storytelling as a force for liberation and visibility. We pay tribute to the legacy of Black storytellers—past and present—who have shaped cultural consciousness through art.
At the heart of this year’s event is the inaugural Pegasus Inspiration Award, presented to the extraordinary Cierra Glaudé—a filmmaker whose work boldly uplifts Black voices, queer identity, and untold truths.
