About the artists:
Stevie Tombstone
Over the years, Tombstone’s bandmates and co-conspirators have been a veritable who's who of underground and nationally recognized players. Priding himself in his ability to cross genres, he has also had the honor of sharing the bill with the likes of Leon Russell, Billy Joe Shaver,The Stray Cats, Greg Allman, Willie Nelson, Drive By Truckers, Marshall Tucker Band, Johnny Bush, and Charlie Starr, Kevn Kinney and the list goes on.
In addition to producing and writing for other artists, Stevie still maintains a hardcore troubadour outlook, enjoying a grassroots following that's kept him on the trail for the last three decades.
Simon Flory
Flory’s sound evokes voices not much heard on radio airwaves, a stew of early country, gospel, and the best of classic Nashville. Even his guitar playing captures the rhythmic tumble of clawhammer banjo and Appalachian fiddle (on both of which he’s adept), and his vocal phrasing carries inflections from the Carter Family to Eddie Cochran to Hank Williams.
After earning a degree in creative writing and theatre from DePauw University, Flory moved to Chicago and founded the country band Merle The Mule while working as a multi-instrumentalist in an old time duo with teacher Ed Tverdek, and as an employee at the Old Town School of Folk Music. In 2008 he moved to the Ozarks of Arkansas where he worked regionally in bluegrass and gospel groups. He also met and worked with his mentor and friend, the late Donny Catron of the legendary bluegrass band The Tennessee Gentlemen.
Ginny Mac
Hailing from Fort Worth, TX, Ginny Mac fronts a dynamic group that brings a fresh and exciting twist to vocal and instrumental stylings in the Country & Western Swing, Americana, Hot Jazz, and International music genres. Ginny has also toured with Asleep At The Wheel, Brave Combo, Pat Green, Mike Dillon, The Texas Playboys under the direction of Tommy Allsup and Leon Rausch, and many others. She endorses Menghini s.r.l. Scandalli Accordions based in Castelfidardo, Italy.
