Kate Angel
Kate Angel is an Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer helping shape a new generation of rock music. Blending alternative rock, hard rock, punk-pop, and modern rock influences, she has built a sound that is both powerful and emotionally charged.
Her career gained momentum after Matt Noveskey, bassist of Blue October, recognized her talent and began collaborating with her. Together, they co-produced her 2023 debut EP, VENOM, as well as the 2024 single "BLAME." Since 2020, Kate has performed more than 150 shows across Texas, steadily building a devoted fanbase. In 2026, she continues that momentum with the release of her second EP, PROVE IT, in February and her new single, "Painting Your Nails," arriving August 13.
Inspired by artists like Evanescence, Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, and Paramore, Kate Angel delivers a dynamic blend of classic rock grit and contemporary alternative energy. Her music pairs emotionally honest lyrics with haunting melodies, infectious hooks, driving guitar riffs, and bold, expressive vocals. Onstage, her electrifying performances bring her rebellious storytelling and raw authenticity to life, creating an unforgettable live experience.
PROVE IT is more than an EP title—it's a declaration. Born from betrayal and fueled by resilience, the project confronts imitation, reclaiming authenticity with unapologetic confidence. Its thunderous alt-rock sound features drop-tuned guitars, crushing rhythms, and vocals that balance melody with menace, evoking the intensity of Halestorm, the urgency of Paramore, and the dark atmosphere of Evanescence.
"I want my HALO fans to feel energized, excited, and inspired while encouraging them to embrace their true selves and connect with others in today's world," Kate says. "My goal is to foster understanding and empathy, creating a space where people can express themselves freely and find solace in the power of music."
