Chris Young Live at Starlight Ranch

Chris Young makes his Starlight Ranch debut in Amarillo on Friday, June 28th! This show will be outdoors on our backyard stage. 

With a dark baritone well beyond his years and a keen ear for the melodic country music of his childhood, Chris Young went from Nashville Star champion to actual Nashville star over the course of just a few years. The grandson of onetime Louisiana Hayride performer Richard Yates, Young hails from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and first drew the public's attention when he appeared on the Nashville Star television show in 2006.

Young's debut single, "Drinkin' Me Lonely," a song he wrote with Larry Wayne Clark, was released in 2006, followed later in the year by a Buddy Cannon-produced album simply called Chris Young. He bounced back to number one in 2021 with "Famous Friends," a duet with Kane Brown that reached the top of the charts. The song worked as the title track to the full-length Famous Friends, which arrived that August. “Everybody Needs a Song," a collaboration with Old Dominion, arrived in May 2022 as part of the deluxe edition of Famous Friends. Young kicked off 2023 with a pair of new singles, the rousing "Looking for You" and the tender, canine-loving "All Dogs Go to Heaven." His next single, "Young Love & Saturday Nights," was built around David Bowie's classic "Rebel, Rebel," guitar riff and served as the title track to his next studio album in early 2024. Don’t miss Chris Young at Starlight Ranch on Friday, June 28th!
