Blacktop Mojo

Blacktop Mojo is a rock band from Palestine, TX, formed in 2012 by lead vocalist Matt James and drummer Nathan Gillis.  The band is known for its unique blend of post-grunge, southern rock, and metal drawing inspiration from bands like Soundgarden, Black Stone Cherry, and Lynard Skynyrd.  They have been active in the music scene since their formation, playing in various venues and supporting national acts.  Their music is characterized by soaring, gritty vocals and heavy guitar grooves, creating a raucous southern stomp that appeals to a wide audience.  The band's commitment to their craft has led them to tour extensively and release multiple albums, showcasing their growth and evolution as musicians.
