Niki Brisco
Niki Brisco native Texan has her roots firmly planted in the rich history of the Dallas music scene. Former lead singer and songwriter of the post modern alt rock band Fever in the Funkhouse (1989-92) who rose to the heights of the golden age of the Deep Ellum music scene. After Fever she was discovered by the iconic director/artistic director Katherine Owens the founder of the renowned Undermain Theater.
Years of journeying between music and theatre from NYC, L.A, Chicago and International touring including working with the storied Dah Teatar from Serbia brought her multiple accolades and artistic achievements
She is currently based in NYC living in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Performing under the name, Texas Talker and Niki B. The Talking Doll she was a cast member of The Legendary Coney Island Circus Sideshow for nine years
In 2022 performing as Pink Velvet Witch she was discovered by the inimitable shock performance art legend Miss Rose Wood who brought Niki into the most notorious, nefarious and exclusive nightclub in Manhattan, The Box as her chosen protege.
Niki has continued to be a prominent star of elite NYC nightlife as well as a touring member of Philadelphia's Dead Flowers Circus Sideshow.
In the end of 2025 NYC director Bruce Grossman began creating a documentary about Niki's eccentric lifestyle and art. The film titled The Pink Velvet Witch is currently touring through film festival internationally and is hailed as a gem in the LGBTQ community.
Niki is honored to return Dallas for an intimate solo set with her guitar and voice to accompany the Texas premiere of her new documentary. The show will be August 6th at the historic Kessler Theater in Oak Cliff where she was born.
A triumphant return home to Dallas the beloved city where her artistic career began.
