What’s It Fest comes back for round two this summer, this time adding a full film festival to its music lineup.

 

Houston isn’t just a melting pot of culture, but a powerhouse of creativity. What’s It is now opening its doors even wider, inviting filmmakers from across Houston to submit their work, screen it on the big stage, and connect directly with the local film community.

 

This June 6th at Bad Astronaut Brewing Co, What’s It will host the first annual What’s It Film Festival as part of its two-week summer event series. 

 

Come support local filmmakers, tap into Houston’s growing creative scene, and experience a night of cinema.

Ages: Our front Taproom (seperate from showroom) has a no children after 9 PM Policy. This policy DOES NOT apply to concerts. Children ages 6+ require a ticket for entry. All children need to be supervised by a parent or guardian. 

Parking: Back lot closed during concerts. Side grass lot available to the East of the building. Street Parking Free on Weekends and after 6 PM on Weekdays.

Bag Policy: There will be a bag check at the door. No back packs, or purses larger than 14” in any dimension. No weapons of any kind, including mace. As a permitted alcohol establishment, Texas law prohibits firearms of any kind on the premises, whether licensed or not. No outside drinks of any kind. No Video or Audio recording devices beyond a cell phone. No large signs. No Illegal or Illicit substances of any kind.

Food & Beverage: We have daily food trucks available to our customers. You are welcome to bring food into the showroom. No outside Drinks. Bar has craft beers brewed in house, Wine, Cider, Seltzers & “Hooch” Cocktails. Water and an array of sodas are available for purchase.
