Eli Fox
New Music Release Show

Featuring  “A Pretty Woman is Like a Rainbow Trout”

Saturday, June 5th
All Ages | 8pm |$15

Eli Fox has been playing music and writing songs since his pre-teen years. Inspired early on by the dialect of Woody Guthrie and the feel of a 5 string banjo, Eli started his musical journey. Since then, Eli has gone on to become a proficient musician and songwriter. Not limited by his hands, Eli plays at least 10 instruments, including but not limited to: banjo, dobro, pedal steel, guitar, harmonica, fiddle, piano, accordion, mandolin, drums and more. This equips him with a unique perspective on writing songs with exciting and expansive melodies. With 2 albums already under his belt, Eli is poised to present his third album “Or Something Like That” in 2019. The album features 11 original songs with Eli backing himself on most of the instrumentation along with appearances by guest musicians. Eli has taken his show to venues such as the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, The Bijou Theatre, The Purple Fiddle, Musician’s Corner, Bobby’s Idle Hour and Bristol Rhythm & Roots; and opened for artists such as Darrell Scott, John McCutcheon, Boy Named Banjo, and Emily Ann Roberts. With determination and a head full of songs, Eli is ready to share his blend of American folk music with the world.
Eli will be exhibiting a few of his original paintings in advance of the live music (including his "A Pretty Woman is A Rainbow Trout"), plus 3 or 4 other paintings one of which have been at exhibit at Belmont Gallery in Nashville.  He will have them on the stage in advance of the live show and then move them back to the artist merch area in the back.
