For Fans of Sunflower Bean, Matt Maeson, Bryce Vine…

Me Nd Adam is the depraved result of a friendship between a self-loathing egotist and a boisterous, red-headed emotional wreck. After meeting in New Orleans and hating each other, Adam & Vince parted ways. Unfortunately, there can be no despair without hope, no discord without union, no darkness without light. Thus, Adam & Vince came to realize they had no choice but to embrace their differences and craft the emotionally turbulent electro-americana duo Me Nd Adam. Now living the dream in a small apartment in their original hometown of Austin, they’re sharing their hope-tinged despair with the world.

The band began when the pair of friends found each other in the throes of nihilistic debauchery and breakups. The world turned its back, Adam and Vince turned to music. Known to their fans for their heartfelt anthems, their online accessibility, and their rambunctious live show, Me Nd Adam are the original trash-wave trail-blazers.

The Austin, TX based duo saw lightning strike in 2020 when their single “Heartbreak Kid” quickly garnered millions of streams across Spotify and Soundcloud. The success of “Heartbreak Kid” attracted the attention of  Las Vegas-based indie label, Handwritten Records.

After signing with Handwritten, the band dropped a string of singles in the run-up to the November 2020 release of their debut album American Drip Pt. I (ADP1). The album’s singles earned coverage in Rolling Stone, Alternative Press and American Songwriter, with “Something Better” scoring a spot in Earmilk’s Best Songs of 2020 (Indie & Alternative) and The Line of Best Fit awarding ADP1 an “8/10," noting that the album “contains stunning elements of comfort, sadness, excitement, resentment and happiness — encapsulating the woes and tides of life and all its ups and downs it hurls at us...it's a relatable, clever and meticulously produced album [and] offers something for everyone.” Atwood Magazine included ADP1 as one of the “Top 50 Albums of the Year” for 2020.

Rock icons The Killers gave ADP1’s single “The More I Grow Up” a nod, shouting out the track on their social media. Unprecedented support from The Killers’ fan base led to arena opening slots for Me Nd Adam in Dallas and Austin. The mentorship culminated with a direct support slot for The Killers’ 2022 New Year’s Eve party at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.

Me Nd Adam’s sound is reminiscent of classic American songwriters like Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen with a contemporary twist of alternative rock and pop production. The band’s influences range from Willie Nelson to Meek Mill, Jason Isbell to Blink-182.

In July of 2023 the band released their sophomore album American Drip Pt. 2 (ADP2) which features their current most popular single, “Heartbeat of My Soul” - a song born from a co-writing session with members of The Revivalists. ADP2 was included in Atwood Magazine’s Albums of the Year 2023.

This March Me Nd Adam will play three Official SXSW Showcases including a direct support slot for Ben Kweller. Past plays include Austin City Limits Music Festival, Shaky Knees Music Festival and opening slots for The Killers, Ghostland Observatory, Charley Crockette and Big Freedia. The band’s been hitting the road hard, headlining nearly 50 shows across the US within the last year in anticipation of new music in Spring 2024.
