Rick Babb

Rick Babb is a seasoned songwriter and story teller who who DFW is proud to have in our music scene. He is fresh off his 1st Place Win at the BW Stevenson Memorial Singer Songwriter contest. His prowess at laying out a story and melody, will win you over every time he takes to one of his songs. 

James Michael Taylor

Inspired by Buddy Holly, The Kingston Trio, and Bob Dylan, JMT has written over 1000 songs. He is a Fort Worth singer-songwriter whose sharp, literary lyrics and maverick streak have made him a fixture of the local scene. He fronted the trio Texas Water before turning to solo home recordings, later co-founding Fontanelle and then Ghost of John Murphy with songwriter Jeff Prince, releasing several albums praised for their haunting, offbeat craftsmanship. Also known for his devotion to horned toads, Taylor is widely regarded among Fort Worth musicians as a true Texas original.

Theo Carracino

Theo Carracino has been a solo artist for more than 50 years. Early on, he performed in bars, lounges and music halls throughout the West. He stopped performing after 10 years to focus on a writing career as a journalist, a political speechwriter, and as a writer in the corporate world. In 2019, Carracino returned to the stage in Fort Worth to debut his songs, and in April 2024, released his debut album, “Better Than a Dream." In January 2025, he won the Songwriter Syndicate Songwriting Contest. He continues to write and perform around Fort Worth.f
