Cory Waller and The Wicked Things, are a Black Dirt Country Band from the Midwest. Over the last year the Band have released 2 Albums (The Way Im Living & Redfield) are currently working on their 3rd Studio album set to release in the Spring of 2025. CW&WT have been members of the Midwest Country Music Organization for the last 3 years, earning them nominations for “Entertainer Of The Year” and “Band Of The Year “. In 2024 the band took home the award for “Song Of The Year” with their tune “Body Aches”. Cory was just accepted as 1 of 12 artists chosen to be a Regional Representative at the 2024 Wild West Song Writer Festival,(Deadwood SD) after penning the song “Steel A Car” off of their Sophomore Album. The band has been making their name touring heavily through out the Midwest and occasionally beyond. Sharing the stage with acts like William Clark Green, Whitey Morgan, The Steelwoods, The Band Of Heathens, Southall and Randy Houser just to name a few.
DUKE OURSLER
Duke Oursler is a country musician, singer & songwriter, born the son of an oil pumper on the plains of Southwest, Kansas. Duke grew up in the windswept prairies of Finney County hunting pheasants and jackrabbits along the dry bottom of the Arkansas river. Duke Currently resides in central IL.
His thoughtful, honest and direct lyrics speak to the experiences, virtues and vices of midwestern life. His unique brand of American country music celebrate hard working blue-collar life and often a critiques the notion of the “American Dream” by contrasting economic and cultural tropes against unifying and spiritual stories of love, loss and family found in rural America.
With honesty, authenticity and whit, Duke and his band The American Dream deliver an energetic live performance belting stories of America's Heartland. Their live performance is professional, and thoughtful mix of his original country rock music as well as a few select covers. Duke has been writing and playing his original music for the past two decades and has shared the stage with many regional and national acts such as Aaron Watson, Kin Faux, Cody Canada, Joe Stamm, Chicago Farmer, Them Coulee Boys and others.
