Director Bio
M. Legend Brown is a self-taught, award winning, writer, producer and director. Legend found his deep interest in filmmaking 10 years ago when he was hired by Milkshake films to write and direct their first film. Since then, Legend has directed 4 feature films and 11 short films.
Charles Malik Whitfield
Whitfield has starred in dozens of prime-time shows and feature films, but one of his proudest professional moments so far is his leading role in the Emmy-winning mini-series, "The Temptations." Nominated for an NAACP Image Award for his portrayal of Otis Williams, Whitfield says people still applaud his performance, years later.
Carl Anthony Payne II
Carl Anthony Payne II was born on May 24, 1969 in Clinton, South Carolina, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Martin (1992), The Messenger (2009) and Feast III: The Happy Finish (2009). He has been married to Melika since December 1992.
Irma P. Hall
A matriarchal supporting actress of film and television whose quick wit and instantly likable persona has served her well on stage and screen, Irma P. Hall has found frequent work in such African-American-oriented dramas as A Family Thing, Soul Food, and Beloved. Equally effective with comedic roles in such features as Nothing to Lose and The Ladykillers, the multi-talented educator, poet, and actress actually stumbled into a career before the cameras by accident -- impressing director Raymond St. Jacques at a poetry reading so much that the filmmaker requested she essay a role in his 1973 crime film Book of Numbers. Her acting career subsequently snowballed, and it didn't take long for the increasingly busy actress to make quite a name for herself on both the stage and screen.
Nikki Dixon
Nikki Dixon is an actress and casting director, known for Made with Love (2017), Nut Cracker (2016) and SideFX (2004).
Kelly O'Neil-Jackson
Following his retirement from the Marine Corps in 2004, he turned his attention to back to acting, landing lead roles in the student film "The Prototype", and the cable movie "Inspector Mom". Commercial work ensued, as well several stints on the hit TV series "Prison Break" and "Friday Night Lights". Following roles as a scientist in the Sci-Fi thriller "Fire From Below", and as a preacher in the indie-hit "Rockabilly Baby", Kelly took a lead role in the yet to be released buddy-cop comedy "Throckmorton and Wellington" and can be seen as the lead in Poorchild Films feature "Hiding In Plain Sight".
