Drumming Performance
Tha Bucket Heads
20 min.
Tha Bucket Heads are made of a group of youth that wants to share their talent with the world. They put on an ELECTRIFYING show which will entertain a few or thousands. Tha Bucket Heads were founded by the lone ranger, Tammy Walker, who started off playing drums in church as a young girl. She longed to expand her influence beyond the church which later sparked her to begin teaching young boys & girls how to make music out of an upside down bucket. Soon enough, children from all over the city were beating on buckets with blindfolds on, wowing people more and more with each performance. Sadly, most of these Bucket Heads live in low income and high crime environments. However, as the influence continues to broaden, more versatility is being incorporated into the group. Children from church, high and low income areas are all coming together for one common cause. Beating, as it is termed by them, is more than just an outside hobby. It is a means of support for both the children, and in many cases, their families. The talent embodied by these strong, young leaders is a testament to the freedom found in opportunity. We want to do our part in empowering and ensuring the children of our community receive the proper support in accomplishing their goals and furthering their education. from a few to thousands!
