306 Hollywood is a magical realist documentary of two siblings who undertake an archaeological excavation of their late grandmother’s house. They embark on a journey from her home in New Jersey to ancient Rome, from fashion to physics, in search of what life remains in the objects we leave behind. 306 Hollywood will premiere on opening night at the Sundance Film Festival 2018. It is the first non-fiction film to be shown in the NEXT section

Director Bio
Elan + Jonathan Bogarín are sibling visual artists and filmmakers born and raised in NYC. They were chosen for Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film in 2017 and have received support from the Sundance Institute, Latino Public Broadcasting, NYSCA, Experimental Television Center, IFP, and they won the audience award for best pitch at the 2017 Hot Docs Forum. Together they run El Tigre Productions, producing innovative non-fiction films for the world’s leading museums. Jonathan is a visual artist and educator who creates paintings and social practice artworks. Elan is a photographer, co-founder of The Wassaic Project, and a Gotham + Spirit Awards nominee for producing Big Fan which premiered at Sundance in 2009. 306 Hollywood is their first feature film.
