Black Girls Drone, BGD, embraces uncharted territory on journey to create change and empowerment for other girls who dream of becoming a drone pilot. BGD is seizing the opportunity to educate and develop the next generations of Drone Pilots throughout the world! Becoming one of the few, part of the many, who will strive to provide training, access, resources and competitive positioning as Certified Drone Pilots for women and girls of color. Providing career development workshops, building a Drone Racing Club, camps, partnerships with local schools, colleges and universities, and corporations to drive awareness by closing the gap between the less than 3.8% UAV industry for black women.
From filmmaking/ cinematography to photojournalism and government, disaster recovery, and real estate construction...there is a need! Average salary: $50K-$200K, freelance work can generate $50-$2000 per hour!
