Teleport into Genevieve Artadi's supersonic universe with her new anime-inspired record, GVA!!!!!
Channeled by the kinetic energy of her anime favorites from Naruto, Bleach, Initial D, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures, Rurouni Kenshin and Attack on Titan–Artadi's fifth album “is my dedication to anime”.
Speaking on the album's inspiration, Artadi describes, “The inspiration I felt was like being turned inside out, like some dormant dreams could awaken in a really fun and creative way. It was great to feel driven like this instead of getting pulverized by the world’s increasing grayness. Of course this would come out in my music and in a twisted kind of way.”
The album continues her signature fusion of experimental jazz with indie punk, dream pop, alt-electronic, cinematic ballads, and lush harmonic writing, but it is Genevieve's voice and arrangements that crystallizes her beautiful expression into a future-sonic world that is truly her own. GVA!!!! is brought to life with her collaborators: Louis Cole, Pedro Martins, Justin Brown, Daryl Johns, Sam Wilkes, Chiquita Magic, Chris Fishman, and Miku Nakamura (of Cö shu Nie).
GVA!!!!! "is an energetic, rocking, colorful record through which I hope to bring a sense of ignition to people’s souls who hear it", explains Artadi.

Lucrecia is a kawaiicore/metalcore band that draws inspiration from otaku culture down to its very name Lucrecia (a mysterious character from the game FFVII). The band was formed in 2016 by co-vocalists, Suki and Frankie, who met at a gig and decided to start a band together. Suki dreamt of being one of the first well known idols from the West of the kawaiicore/kawaii metal genre (a genre that combines cute vocals with heavy music, similar to Babymetal). Since then, Suki has made great strides, becoming well known by many as Suki the kawaiicore idol, breaking barriers in the metal scene with her sweet yet fierce personality. Writing songs that blend catchy yet heavy musical elements coupled with otaku and idol culture, Lucrecia creates a unique and captivating sound that's all their own. Their song "Brotherhood" was their first breakthrough track, after being featured on the popular YouTube channel 'Dreambound'. The song instantly gained them many fans who appreciated the song for its originality and memorable hooks. Their viral hit "Sleeping Slaves Of Fate" (inspired by Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) went on to be their next success, and most successful song to date with over a million streams and counting. The video for the song showcased their idol inspired style and unapologetic love for anime, while also proving that their music can stand out in the very saturated metalcore genre.
