ADallas Chamber Symphony to open fifth season on Oct. 18
with a world-premiere score for #UnSilentFilm: SUNRISE (1927)
The event includes a screening of F.W. Murnau’s SUNRISE (1927), featuring a new score by Joe Kraemer, a free simulcast at Klyde Warren Park and a collaboration with VideoFest 29.

DALLAS – To celebrate its fifth-season opening, Dallas Chamber Symphony will premiere a new score by film composer Joe Kraemer live to a screening of F.W. Murnau’s acclaimed silent film SUNRISE: A SONG OF TWO HUMANS (1927) Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Dallas City Performance Hall, 2520 Flora St. downtown. Presented as part of the orchestra’s UnSilent Film Series, this romantic drama, released at the very end of the silent era, is widely regarded as one of the best and most important films ever made. #UnSilentFilm
