CLOSED TEAR BIO: Influenced by 80s Post Punk, 90s Shoegaze , early 2010s Captured Track era bands, CLOSED TEAR makes a fast, aggressive yet dreamy take on the classic post punk sound with an emphasis on raw emotion and production. Since its inception and after dropping their 2021 debut LP “NADA ES PARA SIEMPRE” and 2023 follow up “SECRETS” the band has played numerous shows around Los Angeles , opened up for Soft Kill, Provoker, Mareux, French Police, and have toured the US and Mexico. “Treading the liminal space between darkwave and dreampop Los Angeles post-punk act Closed Tear…full of brain soothing gems, ringing guitars and beautiful crooning, is the sonic love child of early Cure and Slowdive.” - POST PUNK ONLINE

 

Wisteria bio: After their debut album “Never Waved,” on the renowned Detriti Records in 2020, Wisteria has made a name for themselves in the Los Angeles underground post-punk scene. In the summer of 2021, Wisteria started releasing a string of singles that would showcase their distinct style of dreamy, synth-punk that would manifest itself onstage that year with fog covered stages and energetic live performances. For the next four years, Wisteria would share the stage with acts like Mareux, Provoker, Lebanon Hanover, establishing itself as a premier showcase of the West Coast alt/goth scene. 2024 marks an active year for Wisteria, with the EP “Kiss at Dawn” being released in early 2024, the LP “Never Waved” vinyl pressing debut, and multiple tours. Wisteria is planning a second LP release for the later part of 2024.
