Herbie Rides Again

Celebrate Historic Preservation Month and join us for a special movie night at the historic McKinney Performing Arts Center with a free showing of a classic favorite, Herbie Rides Again

By not letting him buy her home, an historic 1892 firehouse, Mrs. Steinmetz (Helen Hayes) foils the plans of Alonzo Hawk (Keenan Wynn), a property developer who wants to build a shopping mall in downtown San Francisco. Hawk plots to force her out and sends his nephew, lawyer Willoughby Whitfield (Ken Berry), who instead discovers a special Volkswagen Beetle and falls for Nicole (Stefanie Powers), Mrs. Steinmetz's niece. After they discover Alonzo's plans, it's up to Mrs. Steinmetz and the extraordinary Beetle to save the day.
