JANTSEN

ARTIST INFORMATION

::: JANTSEN :::

In a scene defined by fleeting trends, Jantsen has built something timeless. Drawing from old-school bass roots and incorporating elements from across the musical spectrum, his sound stretches far beyond conventional boundaries. His music lives at the intersection of nostalgia and innovation, resulting in a seamless, free-flowing style that connects eras and influences without ever losing its unique identity.

This signature approach has carried an output of original releases and collaborations with other leading figures over the years, with a catalog spanning some of the most respected labels across in bass music including Kairos Audio, Deadbeats, WAKAAN, Circus Records, and more. That same ethos extends to the Gutter Music series, an annual mix that has grown into a defining cornerstone of his project and functions as an outlet for unreleased material, deep cuts, and genre-fluid selections, further reinforcing his role as a curator within bass music culture.

Beyond the studio, Jantsen continues to bring his signature sound to stages nationwide through headline tours, festival appearances, and landmark performances that showcase the full range of his artistry. In both recorded and live settings, Jantsen has not only established himself as a cemented presence within the community, but has continued to expand his reach while remaining a key force in the evolution of modern dubstep.
