On February 14, 2026, the world lost an amazing, caring, talented, and hilarious man.  On Sunday, April 26, on behalf of his family, we invite to come your respects and celebrate the life of our very close and personal friend, Pat York.  We will begin at 7pm.

"Charles Patrick York of Denton, Texas passed away on February 14, 2026 in Hurst, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving father, friend, mentor and coach to all that knew and loved him.

He was born on April 28, 1949 in San Rafael, California to parents Kenneth Thornton York and Katherine Eleanor Lucci while stationed at Hamilton Air Force Base. Raised in an Air Force family, Pat lived all over the globe before putting down roots in Denton, Texas. A graduate of North Texas State University and a member of the men’s club soccer team, he went on to teach and coach at Denton High School, where he made a lasting impact as a multi‑sport coach and as a pioneer of outdoor education programs that taught practical life skills and fostered a deep respect for nature. Pat later built a successful career in sales and marketing within the western apparel and rodeo industry, where his charisma and talent for connecting with people shone. Music, however, was his lifelong passion. Immersed in Denton’s singer‑songwriter community, he sang and played guitar with heart, always carrying a harmonica in his pocket—ready to jump in for a song whenever the opportunity arose. Whether on the field, in the classroom, at work, or on stage, Pat brought warmth, energy, and an enduring love for life.

Pat is survived by daughters Carly, Adelle and Lauren York, and by grandchildren Wiley and Marion Carel. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth, mother Katherine, and brothers Mike and Joe York."
