Since 2009, Club Wood has been hauling New Orleans brass band chaos into Dallas dive bars where it has absolutely no business being—and that's exactly the point. Johnny Tone leads this seven-piece through jug band stomps, hokum blues, and jazz standards run through a garage rock filter that somehow makes sense of Dr. John's voodoo theater, the New York Dolls' glam sneer, Amy Winehouse's retro-soul heartbreak, and the sweaty joy of a second-line parade.
