Clinton Fearon
Clinton Fearon is a legendary reggae singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist
whose career spans more than five decades. Born in Jamaica, he rose to prominence
as a key member of the iconic roots reggae group The Gladiators, where he served as
bassist, vocalist, and principal songwriter. During his time with the band, Fearon penned
and performed classic tracks such as “Chatty Chatty Mouth,” “Rich Man Poor Man,” and
“Let Jah Be Praised,” helping define the sound of roots reggae in the 1970s.
Since launching his solo career in the late 1980s, Clinton has released 15 solo albums
to date. Touring internationally on his most recent album release “Jah is Love”. Fearon
has continued to evolve his sound while staying deeply rooted in reggae tradition.
Known for his warm stage presence and timeless voice, Clinton Fearon continues
captivating audiences with music that bridges generations and carries forward the spirit
of classic reggae.
