Formed in Tokyo in 1993, MELT-BANANA is a noise-rock duo consisting of Yako(vocals) and Agata (guitar). Known for their hyper-fast collision of hardcore punk, noise rock, and experimental electronics, MELT-BANANA has spent more than three decades building a devoted international following. Their early albums were engineered by Steve Albini, and their timeless, chaotic sound has led to tours with heavyweights like Tool and Mike Patton (Mr. Bungle/Fantomas), while they continue to bridge generations by sharing stages with contemporary artists such as Machine Girl and Hot Mulligan.

Now performing as an electronically driven two-piece, MELT-BANANA remains as explosive as ever. Following the release of their acclaimed 2024 album, 3+5, MELT-BANANA returns to the US on a highly anticipated tour featuring performances at Riot Fest and Levitation Festival, alongside a handpicked run of headline dates across 13 cities.
