David Marquis’ 75th birthday party show with guest host Eric Nadel, the Hall of Fame voice of the Texas Rangers.

Whether performing at the Kennedy Center or serving as an election observer in El Salvador, writer and activist David Marquis has lived one hell of a life. And he turns 75 in February!  This show will be much more than a birthday celebration. Legendary singer and actress Denise Lee and brilliant pianist Neeki Bey will add dynamic music.

David will perform pieces from his works, including The River Trilogy, I AM A TEACHER, and The Land. 

In an interview based on 25 years of friendship, Eric and David will discuss his career as an artist and activist, which spans 50 years and includes performances on Broadway and appearances in 41 states, plus time spent in South Africa, Pakistan, India, and the Philippines. They will also discuss how to deal with the challenging times we face today.
