Sharing a love of 90’s post hardcore and 70’s classic rock, Austin based Zeus Apollo combine melodic and straightforward riff heavy original songwriting, complemented by pounding, yet intricate rhythms that are both aggressively anthemic and loud. Formed in 2021, when guitarist Aaron Franklin and drummer Jason Henderson joined forces with guitarist/vocalist Jud Thomas and bassist Mike Czysz, they found common ground in influences ranging from Drive Like Jehu to early ZZ Top. Their most recent releases include a 6-song vinyl EP and a split 7” with Austin trio The Gary on Act Your Age Records.

The Gary is a post-punk band from Austin, TX, active since 2008. They’ve toured the U.S. and E.U. with Mission Of Burma, Archers of Loaf, Martha’s Vineyard Ferries, among others. They’ve recorded with Steve Albini, Matthew Barnhart, and Chico Jones. They recently released a split 7” on Act Your Age Records with Zeus/Apollo, and are currently working on a new album.
