Born and raised in Augusta, GA, MJ Moody found his way to comedy after serving 20 years in the U.S. Navy. Trading high seas for high laughs, MJ discovered that making people crack up was a lot safer than dodging torpedoes.
After retiring from the military, MJ made waves in the Dallas comedy scene, quickly climbing the ranks with his sharp wit and side-splitting tales. His hilarious takes on family life, politics, and his jaw-dropping military adventures have audiences howling. He's living proof that life after service can be seriously funny.
MJ is a regular at Hyena's Comedy Nightclub and has performed coast to coast. He's shared the stage with comedy heavyweights like Steven Michael Quezada (Breaking Bad), Dante (Last Comic Standing), and Dean Edwards (SNL). Whether it's a packed club or an intimate venue, MJ brings the kind of energy that makes people forget their worries and just laugh out loud.

John L. Brown grew up in Augusta GA, and went to Hephzibah High school, and has been in the comedy game for 8 years. John has been living in the Dallas area for the last ten years. He did his first open mic in June of 2012 and now performs regularly in rooms all over the country.
