For My Peeps is the latest musical project from bassist, synth player, and producer David Murphy (Murph), founding member of the pioneering electronic jam band Sound Tribe Sector 9.

Blending funk, electro, and psychedelic grooves, For My Peeps delivers immersive live performances filled with rhythm, energy, and emotion, mixing classic influences with fresh material built for the dance floor.

Inspired by artists like Nine Inch Nails, Daft Punk, Pink Floyd, Empire of the Sun, Tame Impala, and Herbie Hancock & the Headhunters, Murphy creates instrumental soundscapes designed to connect deeply without words. His philosophy is simple: music and art are shared experiences, and the artist is merely the channel.
