Taylor's latest album is a stunning musical journey, sure to captivate listeners with its mix of avant-pop, ambient pop, and experimental sounds. Recorded at Elmwood Recording in Oak Cliff, Amphora was produced by a dream team of talented producers, Black Taffy, Lily Taylor herself and Alex Bhore and released on her own label, Lily Taylor Music. Buffi Jacobs

Buffi Jacobs, an accomplished modernistic cellist and composer, currently resides in the vibrant city of New York. She is known for delivering captivating and innovative performances and compositions. With a career spanning over three decades, Buffi has continuously evolved as a musician, fearlessly venturing beyond her comfort zones to gain fresh perspectives and create truly unique experiences.

In 2007, Buffi joined the renowned band The Polyphonic Spree and embarked on a world tour, performing at notable festivals such as Lollapalooza, Splendour in the Grass, Bonnaroo, Electric Picnic, and Coachella. During her tenure with The Polyphonic Spree, Buffi gained invaluable insights into the significance of orchestration, dynamics, and spatial awareness, realizing their profound impact on live performances and their ability to deeply resonate with listeners. The years Buffi spent touring with The Polyphonic Spree left an indelible mark on her artistic journey, profoundly shaping her development as a performer, composer, and curator of immersive musical experiences.

In recent years, Buffi embarked on a journey as a member of the national tour of the critically acclaimed musical "Hamilton" from 2018 to 2022. This transformative experience paved the way for her to become a regular substitute in Broadway musicals in New York City.

Buffi's exceptional talent and versatility as a musician allow her to regularly collaborate as a composer, arranger, and orchestrator with indie rock artists seeking to add strings, horns, and orchestral elements to their recordings and live performances. Additionally, Buffi excels as a session cellist and scoring composer for film, TV, podcasts, and commercials, showcasing her ability to create evocative musical landscapes across various mediums.

"Solitary Contemplations" is Buffi's debut solo album, featuring live looping cello compositions primarily written during the pandemic. The album reflects the emotions of isolation, fear, anxiety, and everything in between that many experienced during that time. Through her music, Buffi sought to find joy in solitude and explore her own suspension in time.
