Chinedu - Special Event

Chinedu is a comedian, actor and a writer, known for his stand up appearances on television, around the United States and internationally. Chinedu recently released a newly taped comedy album titled "Mostly Kidding." The album debut at #2 on iTunes and can be found on Apple Music, Google Play, Amazon, Spotify, Pandora, + more. Chinedu has been featured in projects on SHOWTIME (It’s A Party), FOX (The Mindy Project), HULU (Coming to the Stage), HBO (The Big Chop), Facebook TV (Island Hoppers), Amazon (Inside Jokes), etc. Chinedu also recently returned from #TheLagostoLaurelTour alongside Yvonne Orji (Insecure) and from his own college tour The Study Break. Chinedu continues to tour comedy clubs annually across the nation featuring for Damon Wayans Jr and headlining dates of his own. Chinedu has toured overseas for the US Troops stationed across the Middle East and has completed a comedy tour of India and Lebanon and Dubai. In addition, Chinedu stars in the TV Series Platonic (ABFF Film Festival Selection).

Born and raised in south Los Angeles by his parents who emigrated from Nigeria, Chinedu got his start in entertainment through stand up while attending college at University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduating, Chinedu moved back to LA where he attend Loyola Marymount University, while teaching students with mild to moderate special education needs. In between lesson plans and pep talks, Chinedu still made time to pursue his entertainment dreams, before eventually taking a leap of faith and leaving teaching after serving the inner city youth of Los Angeles for six years.

Chinedu performs regular at some of the country’s most renowned comedy club stages. Including: The Laugh Factory, The Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Union, The Comedy and Magic Club, The Westside Comedy Theatre, The Icehouse, Flappers Comedy Club, etc.

Chinedu was a top ten finalist in NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity competition and had his stand up featured on multiple outlets including: Kevin Hart's LOL Network, Amazon Prime's Inside Jokes, on FUSE’s TV Stand Up and Deliver, Fox's Laughs and All Def Digital.

Recently, Chinedu's name can be seen under the credits as an Executive Consultant for Yvonne Orji's 'Mama We Made It' (HBO). Chinedu has performed in multiple comedy festivals including Just For Laughs, New York Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull, Bridgetown, The Hell Yes Fest, San Louis Obispo, Brokechella, Weird Ass Comedy Festival, etc. and was named a 2020 top 10 Comedian to Watch by Time Out LA
