American Slang is a teenage rock band formed in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The five members met while attending the School of Rock in Edmond, Oklahoma and quickly developed a reputation for their electrifying live performances and raw talent.

Their music blends elements of southern rock and classic hard rock, with a modern twist that appeals to both young audiences and rock enthusiasts.
