Marty Willson-Piper has written songs for and with Charlie Sexton, Aimee Mann, Jules Shear and Grace Slick. He has also released six solo albums to date. His debut, In Reflection, was released in 1987. Accompanied by his wife, Olivia, Marty will perform an eclectic collection of songs from all aspects of his long history in music. Marty is not only a reknowned guitarist but also an engaging storyteller with a deep and varied back catalogue.
Laish is the musical project of Danny Green, a Yorkshire-born and London-based acclaimed songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Time Elastic, the 4th and latest release from Laish, fuses Danny's innate melodicism with his knack for incisive lyrics. It is surely one of the best full-length records to so far immerge from 2018.
Salim Nourallah is a North Texas music scene fixture. After gaining initial acclaim with the Denton-based Nourallah Brothers he’s gone on to release a half dozen solo albums and produce a fine list of many others (including the Old 97s, Rhett Miller, Deathray Davies & the Damnwells). His 7th solo LP, Somewhere South of Sane, will be released on September 28th by Palo Santo Records. No Depression has already called the sprawling double LP's inventive soundscapes "melodic and memorable...think Nick Drake and the side of John Lennon that emerges in songs like 'Julia.'"
