The legendary Tone Deaf Cowboys began playing together as students at Austin College in Sherman, TX in the mid-1980s. Comprising multiple songwriters and playing a variety of musical styles, the band developed a strong following throughout North Texas, influencing several local artists with their strong original material and energetic performances.
Their songs have been recorded and performed by other artists including Sam the Lion, Ed Rogers, Amy Coffman, and the Canadian duo Skin & Jones and featured in the upcoming theatrical production “Washed in the Blood.”
After pursuing other musical opportunities in the early years of the 21st century, the band reunited to record the album “Saturday Night in the Promised Land” (released in 2022).
We are excited to play our first-ever show in Ft. Worth!
Come join us at the Southside preservation Hall on July 13 for an evening of old favorites and new compositions.
